Method

This page states exactly what happens at each stage, what is delivered, and how long it takes.

We don't begin with form. We begin with meaning.

Clients choose a design studio by its portfolio — but a portfolio can be copied. What cannot be copied is the method.

Design Process

Ten stages, in order. Each one has its own deliverable.

  1. 01

    Research

Before any decision, we read the market, the competitors, the audience and the cultural ground the brand stands on.

  2. 02

    Origin

We draw out the historical, cultural, human and economic roots of the brand. The question almost no designer asks.

  3. 03

    Philosophy

What the brand believes is written down, before anything is designed.

  4. 04

    Strategy

Position, difference and the long-term decisions are defined.

  5. 05

    Narrative

Philosophy becomes a story that can be told, heard and remembered.

  6. 06

    Typography

Voice, vocabulary and typeface are chosen. Typography is the voice of the brand.

  7. 07

    Visual Identity

Logo, colour system, typography and visual language — built as one system.

  8. 08

    Verbal Identity

Brand voice, key messages and naming.

  9. 09

    Experience

The identity is carried into physical and digital touchpoints.

  10. 10

    Evolution

The identity grows with the brand. This stage has no end.

Revision Policy

Most design studios are not damaged by a shortage of clients but by endless revision. So the number of revision rounds is fixed from the start, in the contract.

  • Each stage has at most two revision rounds.
  • First round: directed changes based on written client feedback.
  • Second round: minor changes and finalisation; not a redesign from scratch.
  • Any revision beyond these two rounds, or a return to an earlier stage after written approval, is priced separately.

This policy protects the studio and shows the client that our process has a structure, not a passing taste.
